These cuties are 2 months today! They are starting to smile and make sounds. They go down for the night between 8 & 9 but still wake up once each. They like to lay by each other but don't do well sleeping at night together. Mark Foote and I have figured out how to feed 2 babies at the same time. They love bathtime. Marin is much more chill than Simon. Both of them prefer to snuggle over your shoulder rather than in your arms. Both of them get smothered in kisses from Tessa and Mallory adds some too. Life is crazy and loud at times and it's not always the children who are crying but life is good! We can totally do twins, a 5 almost six year old, a 3 year old, summer swim season and grad school… right Mark!

42 Days until our Lives Change
Okay, so I haven’t been very good at keeping up on this blog. But since the last post we have had a nice New Years, gotten more and more ready for the babies, Mark has applied for jobs out of state but nothing has worked out, sold and bought a new vehicle for Mark, survived sickness (some of which was very painful), I got released from a church calling, and Mallory started sunbeams at church.
I am 34 weeks along and doing well! I am uncomfortable and sometimes in pain (stretching and back pain) but overall this has been a normal pregnancy. Also, if you are looking at this picture thinking oh my, oh my is right… my belly is measuring 44 inches. That is full term for a single birth…..and I have more to go :0
The girls get to take a sibling class offered through the hospital. Tessa is excited but adamant that she will not be changing diapers. I am curious as to what Mallory thinks of the class. My girls are getting so BIG. I realize this the more and more I pull out baby stuff that they used. Also, Tessa likes to do stuff herself! And she is almost done with kindergarten!! It fills like I just put her on the bus for the first day of school :( Mallory is adventurous and spunky as always. She is also starting to say “I am a big girl” when Tessa calls her little. She loves to play!
Mark is doing really well in his masters program. In June, he will have one more year! He is also gearing up for another summer season with the City of Mesa. We didn’t plan very well as to when to have another baby since we are headed into the crazy part of the year for Mark. Well, lets face it it’s ALWAYS a crazy time of year!

Christmas Letter
So I did awful with my 30 days of Thankfulness and not much better with getting Christmas cards out. But here is our yearly letter that I wanted to send out.
Dear Family and Friends,
Our family has had a wonderful year! We have had some ups and downs this year but all in all we have been very blessed.
Mark and I will celebrate our 9th anniversary in January. I don't know where the time has gone. Mark is still with the City of Mesa as an Aquatics Programmer and loves it! He also started his Masters program in June so getting back into “school” has been an adjustment. He has liked most of his teachers and is doing really well.
I am still a stay at home mom. I do respite care for a friend’s son every morning and on occasion in the afternoon. I babysit a boy on Tuesday who Mallory loves to play with. I also do a traveling preschool for Mallory once to twice a month. So my days are busy. In March, I got called to be the Primary President in our ward. It has been a fun calling to have and I am enjoying it.
Tessa is five and started kindergarten this year. She goes all day and is doing very well if she can remember to not be too chatty. She is also taking a movement and music class after school one day a week which she likes because many of her friends are in it. Tessa loves to draw, paint or create things. She says that she is a “good artist”.
Mallory is 3 years old. She is a spunky girl! She can keep up and hold her own against her sister. She loves to go to preschool and dance class. Mallory made our family vacation to Sea World in April memorable by breaking her arm the first night in San Diego. She loves princesses and to play dress up.
I think that biggest surprise came in August when my doctor confirmed our pregnancy but announced that it was twins!!! We were shocked to say the least. We were hoping for one healthy baby after having a miscarriage earlier in the year but were blessed with two. So far things are going very well in this pregnancy if you don’t count the being “so big”. We are having a boy and girl sometime between March and April 3rd.
Well, that is us this past year. We know that the New Year will bring more excitement and sleepless nights but also many blessings to our family. We wish you a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year!
Love,
Mark, Tara, Tessa & Mallory Foote
